About

Hi, I’m Dom.
A friendly and motivated, Newcastle University graduate in Biology and Psychology, with a passion for high performance sports.
During my nine years rowing, I went from a complete novice to competing for Team GB, racing and winning medals at U23 World Championships, European Championships and other international events, breaking World and British indoor records along the way.
I am now passionate about enabling others to reach their sporting potential. My degree in Biology and Psychology, focused on the impact of different coaching styles within sport on athletes performance and anxiety. I now use the latest science and data to inform how I coach, both to guide the specific sessions and my interactions with athletes.
Since university, I have been putting my own sporting experiences into practice whilst changing sport from rowing to triathlon. I have also coached athletes leading a training group of over 40 and another 15 individual clients. Some of these athletes have competed at National level competitions and medalled in the process.
I regularly compete in cycling races (TTs, Road Races, Crits) and I love my running. Most notably completing the 2023 London Marathon in 02h43m17s and finishing the Trail des Haute Forts 2nd in my age group (a 50km ultra running race in the French Alps).
Please get in touch if you think that I can help you achieve your sporting goals no matter how big or small they may seem to you.
Coaching style
I have an individual focused, and democratic approach to coaching. Everyone is unique with different aspirations. Therefore their approach to reach their goals should reflect this.
Vision
Making training simple, effective and fun so that reaching peak performance is not down to chance but consistent progress.
